Capturing the spirit of yoga, Sadhana: The Daily Practice of Yoga, Volume 2 offers a technically solid hatha yoga practice grounded in the heart-opening tradition of Kripalu yoga. This new CD follows the same presentation style used on the best-selling Volume 1. Instruction is clear and precise, easy-to-follow, providing details of alignment and inspiration for the postures. The emphasis is on self-acceptance and the inner experience of the practice rather than on achieving perfect form.

The compact disc includes instruction in the Ujayii Pranayma along with cues for using the powerful Dhristi (eye focus) and Mulabandha (root lock) techniques. The core practice of twenty-two postures is a carefully designed sequence of three backbends, four forward bends, one side bend, four spinal rotations, two inversions, and two balancing postures. One track features a flowing vinyasa of standing warrior postures that can be repeated to generate a "power yoga" experience.
