Known for her joy and her passion for spiritual practice through both the Yogic and Buddhist Traditions, she has been studying, practicing and teaching yoga and meditation for 20 years. She is a trained Community Dharma Leader through Spirit Rock Meditation Center in California, a teacher at Show Me Dharma Meditation Center for many years, a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher and has attended and assisted at many meditation retreats since 1999 around the country. She trained at Kripalu Center for her 200-hour yoga certification and has been a long-time yoga student of Ken McRae.  She has also trained in iRest yoga nidra with Richard Miller, restorative yoga with Judith Lasater, and with Max Strom, as well as others.

In addition, Lynn is an author of the book, The Mindfulness-Based Eating Solution: Proven Strategies to End Overeating, Satisfy Your Hunger, and Savor Your Life, which was named one of the top ten books of 2016 by Mindful.org.
